About Castle Rock Rodent: How This Site Works
Who we are, what this website does and doesn’t do, and how we put the information together.
What Castle Rock Rodent Is
Castle Rock Rodent is an independent information website for homeowners in and around Castle Rock, Colorado. It explains how to recognize rodent problems, handle common ones safely and decide when professional help makes sense.
We are not a pest control company. We don’t inspect homes, set traps, apply products or clean up after rodents, and we don’t have technicians.
What we do and don’t do
- We do: publish practical guides based on official and university sources.
- We don’t: perform pest control or give on-site advice.
- We don’t currently: take service requests or connect visitors with providers.
- We don’t: publish customer reviews, ratings or prices we haven’t verified.
Where Our Information Comes From
Health and cleanup guidance on this site follows the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Douglas County Health Department. Yard rodent information comes from Colorado State University Extension. Local notes come from the Town of Castle Rock, and license information from the Colorado Department of Agriculture.
Each guide links to the sources it relies on, so you can read the original guidance. When a product is involved, the label always takes priority over anything written here.
What this information is not
Our guides are general information. They are not medical advice, legal advice or a substitute for an on-site inspection. If you feel unwell after rodent contact, contact a doctor.
Referrals and Money
Castle Rock Rodent does not currently refer visitors to pest control providers, and we don’t receive payment from any provider.
If that changes, we will update this page before any referral feature goes live. We will explain who receives your request, whether we are paid for referrals, and how your information is handled, and the same disclosure will appear next to any request form.
